Truth can be subtle and often elusive.
It cancels the premise with which you propound it.
But it’s always considered concise and conclusive
by those who are satisfied that they have found it.

Tarski’s undefinability theorem shows us that.
Truth cannot be trusted …
But, on the other hand: a dog is not a cat.
Good point, but I’m not looking to define truth. In fact, I am sheepish about even using the noun “truth” as opposed to the perfectly good adjective “true”. It’s just such a POPULAR word and has such a nice cachet… I couldn’t help myself. 😉
